The First Session of Far East Good Lecturer Competition Ended Successfully

On the afternoon of Jan. 14, the first session of Far East Good Lecturer Competition began to be held in Wisdom School of Far East University. Assistant President and CAO of Far East Holding Group Zhou Dongjiao attended the activity and acted as a professional judge.

This competition was divided into two rounds to hold. The first round was courseware collection stage. Far East University organized evaluation group to grade 96 coursewares and screened out the first 30 lecturers to enter into the next link with combination of total number of class hours. The second round was on-spot report stage, and everyone gave lecture on spot for 6 minutes. According to the standards in four dimensions, professional image, course introduction, course atmosphere and course summary, professional judges graded, all contestants carried out mutual evaluation, and invited relay 100 public judges to grade together, then they got rid of the highest score and the lowest mark to appraise and select the first, second and third place prizes according to average score.

Before the activity, Dean of Marketing College of Far East University Du Jie read out competition agenda in public for everyone, introduced activity rules in detail, and congratulated that the first session of Far East Good Lecturer Competition would end successfully in advance. Subsequently, lecturers from all lines of Far East made their speeches on their own course for 6 minutes. These courses involved technological process of wire and cable, product quotation knowledge, quality control, time management, image etiquette and contents in many other aspects.

Through the nervous competition link, finally, Zhou Neng from Far East University won the first-place prize, Factory Director Assistant of Marine Equipment Cable Plant Hu Diandong and factory director of EHV Cable Plant Xu Mao won the second-place prizes, Senior consultant Mei Tingdi, Xie Fei from Far East University and Chief Inspector of Quality Control Department Li Lin won the third-place prizes.

Finally, Zhou Dongjiao made summary for this activity, gave full affirmation for the holding of this activity, and had kind communication with all lecturers from aspects such as time management, image building and audience interaction, and looked forward to that internal lecturers of Far East could play more important role in future development of enterprise.

The first session of Far East Good Lecturer Competition was an important measure to cultivate excellent internal lecturer team, and it could promote the communication among internal lecturers for promotion together with the form of competition. Under the increasingly fierce market competition environment, the demand of enterprise in talents was increasing day by day, and the important task to cultivate and develop talents effectively required enterprise training mode to change and upgrade. This competition was just a beginning, and Far East would provide wider stage for every lecturer and look for more “Far East Good Lecturer”.
