EHV Wire Project of Far East Smarter Energy Won China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Awar

Recently, China Machinery Industry Office for Science and Technology Awards Working published “2015 China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award”, and “the R&D and application project of 1250mm² energy conservation wire series of products with large cross section used in EHV power transmission line” of the wholly-owned subsidiary Far East Cable Co., Ltd. subordinated to Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (Far East Smarter Energy for short with stock code 600869), won the third prize of “2015 China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award”.

“1250mm² energy conservation wire series of products with large cross section used in EHV power transmission line”, which is the steel-core (formed) all aluminium conductor with the largest cross section developed by Far East Cable successfully within the country for the first time, with all performances which are obviously superior to the IEC standard of International Electrotechnical Commission, ASTM standard of America and national standard GB, as well as comprehensive technical characteristic reaching international advanced level. At present, this project has won the bidding SGCC for many times, and has been applied in ±800KV high-voltage direct current power transmission project of Ningdong (Lingzhou)-Zhejiang (Shaoshing) successfully. After this project is built, Ningxia power grid will take advantage of electric power delivery advantage, reduce the wind power and photovoltaic absorption issue during the period of low ebb, realize the coordinating and unifying of new energy power generation, transportation and absorption, which will give benefit to the bundling and transportation of new energy of Ningxia, boost the optimal configuration of new energy in larger scope, and is another perfect embodiment of Far East Smarter Energy to build “smarter energy, smart city system service provider”.

It is reported that “China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award” is built together with CMIF and CMES, with appraisal once a year. The scope of award covers the basic theory in the field of mechanical industry, innovation and creation and those scientific and technological achievements with practical value produced in the research, development, test and popularization and application carried out in order to enhance the level of productive forces, and its award objects are those organizations or individuals who have creative contribution in the field of science and technology in mechanical industry, and make outstanding contribution to promoting scientific and technological progress in mechanical industry, improving economic benefit and social benefit.
