Liu Zhenya delivered a keynote speech
In his keynote speech at the Conference, Liu Zhenya said the energy Internet is essentially an interconnection of power grids, and the fundamental goal of building the world's energy interconnection is to meet the electricity demand, a necessary path toward achieving a sustainable development for human, with huge economic, social and environmental comprehensive benefits.
Wang Min, Deputy General Manager of the State Grid (middle), toured in front of the booth of Smarter Energy
As the State Grid’s long-term strategic partner, Smarter Energy, around systematic planning, began a business restructuring comprehensively from 2015, establishing business groups including smarter energy system, energy system, and project engineering contracting. Through smarter energy planning and design, smarter energy operation and maintenance, smarter energy power distribution system, smarter energy application program, and distributed power generation/energy storage and micro-grid access system, it carries out the relevant business for subsystems, and accelerates the company's development goal as "a smarter energy expert, or a smarter energy integrated solution provider". This time, Smarter Energy as a founding member of global energy development one of the founding members of Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization will actively support and promote energy transformation, realize clean development, deal with climate change, and assist in achieving innovative growth in the global energy Internet, which will also help the company strengthen the business development in the global energy interconnection.
In front of the booth of Smarter Energy, Jiang Huajun introduces Far East First New Energy Co., Ltd.’s product- 18650 lithium battery- and its application to the guest
According to the introduction by professionals, the global energy Internet contains huge commercial value and vast investment opportunities. It is expected that by 2050, when the global energy Internet will be initially built, the total investment will exceed U.S.$50 trillion cumulatively, which will generate a large number of infrastructure industries, with the investment business focusing on smart PV / wind power cloud platform, distributed energy storage, power battery echelon usage, charging pile & electric vehicle network, combination of wind power & solar PV and charging station, micro-grid, and user monitoring platform for energy efficiency. The participation of Japanese Softbank and other institutions means that the investment community has started to be aware of profitability from driving the global energy Internet. Therefore, benefiting from the wave of the developing the global energy Internet, Smarter Energy will meet a sustainable development opportunity too.
Wang Min, Deputy General Manager of the State Grid, met with the strategic partners. Jiang Huajun (third from right row) was invited to present on behalf of Smarter Energy
Being the first meeting of taking a global energy Internet as the theme, the Conference is a broadly, internationally influential event that faces to the world. It has attracted the United Nations, the International Energy Agency, the World Bank and other international organizations, as well as the representatives from the governmental departments of the United States,Russia and other countries, the relevant domestic government department principals, the energy sector academicians, and representatives from industry enterprises, scientific research institutions and media. Around the issues such as global energy development, interconnection of UHV and grid, and alternative energies, the attendants conducted in-depth exchanges to jointly promote the development of the global energy Internet by gathering strength.
