Recently, Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission held a new product appraisal meeting in Yixing. Two new products – “EMU’s 2nd-category low-smoke, no-halogen thin wall cable”, and “wind tower drum-used 8000 series aluminum alloy rubber-sheathed cable and crimp terminal“ – developed by Far East Cable Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: Smarter Energy; stock code: 600869), passed the appraisal review, recognized unanimously and highly valued by the expert group.

Leaders and experts from Shanghai Jiaotong University, East China Electric Power Design Institute, National Quality Supervision and Testing Centerfor Cables and Wires, Guangdong Power Grid Corporation, State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Company and CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd. participated in the appraisal meeting. The experts listened carefully Far East Cable’s development report, technical report, and scientific-technological novelty search report on these two scientific and technological achievements, as well as the user and economic effect analysis. After the procedures including question inquiry and discussion, the products are considered with complete material and accurate statistics provided for the appraisal. As a result, the new product of "EMU’s 2^nd- category low-smoke, no-halogen thin wall cable” has reached the internationally advanced level, while “wind tower drum-used 8000 series aluminum alloy rubber-sheathed cable and crimp terminal“ has reached the domestically leading level. Both are in line with the new product appraisal requirements, so they are agreed to pass the appraisal and recommended to be promoted and applied as soon as possible.

The successfully-developed series of new products by Far East Smarter Energy reflect the results achieved by the company due to in-depth research for many years in intelligent transportation and new energy wind power, which will be regarded as newly-created profit growth points for the company that push the company's performance upward to a new level.
