- Far East Holding Group successfully holds "Relay 100" the first-term graduate research topic defense
On August 12, Far East Holding Group held "Relay 100" the first-term graduate research topic defense at the conference room on the second floor in New Far East. It was attended by investor and Senior Vice General Manager of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: Smarter Energy; stock code: 600869) as well as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Quality Officer of cable industry Wang Chuanbin; Investor, Vice General Manager and Chief Production Officer of cable industry Zhu Changbiao; Director of Human Resources Meng Xiangbo; Investor and Deputy Director of Development Services Department Tian Xu. All the first-term graduates of "Relay 100" were present at the meeting, which was chaired by Meng Xiangbo.
Defense by representatives on behalf of the research topic groups
These research topics for the defense were collected by the Group’s Human Resources Department from all plants and lines, specific for the hot and tough problems in production, management, technology and other fields. The students need to use their "relay 100" professional research skills and analytical ability to offer intellectual support to the development of the company by combining with the actual research results. Guided and advised by the experts and leaders, all research groups further clarified the research direction, optimized research methods, completed in-depth studies, improved research reports, and generated systematic research results, after the mid-term report.

The following topics participated in the defense: "relationship between labor productivity and production quotas", "analysis on difference between material quota and rate of saving", "sources for waste generation", "management on new generation employees", "execution of front-line employees", "studies on Far East multi-brand cooperative marketing strategy", and "procedures for New Far East 4.4MWp photovoltaic power plant operation". They covered production management, human resources, finance and many other aspects, which were commented by the participating leaders and experts, together with each group defense and topic research results.
Wang Chuanbin made a conclusive summary
After the defense, Wang Chuanbin made a conclusive summary. He first made fully positive comments on the good performance of the defense personnel. He noted that the research groups obtained first-hand research data through questionnaires, interviews, and statistical analysis, and conducted experimental demonstration and data analysis as well as other research methods based on objective facts. The generated research results have important reference significance for the company’s management and decision-making. He put forward new requirements to the research topics by asking for further focusing on the key and difficult issues for Far East in the development that need to be solved urgently to help the growth of Far East. He also hopes that the "Relay 100" first-term graduates would make a proper personal planning by closely linking personal development to the company, and applying the experiences, perception and improvement during the past year to their individual job position, to add new luster to the company and create new value for Far East.
