Smarter Energy (600869) Supported the Construction of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge to Connect Guang

    On September 27, the 22.9km long main bridge of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge was constructed, including Qingzhou Ship Channel Bridge, River-to-Sea Ship Channel Bridge, Jiuzhou Channel Bridge, and the 20km Navigation Opening Bridge. Once the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is constructed and open to traffic, the time-space distance among Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macao will be greatly shortened and there is only a 30-minute drive from Hong Kong to both Zhuhai and Macao.

    It is learned that the main part of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is 29.6km long, and includes 5.99km immersed tunnel and 22.9km bridge. The traffic engineering for the main part of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is the key to realize high-speed, safe, comfortable, and normal operation of the bridge. Yuandong Cable Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Smarter Energy (600869), was awarded the bid to supply intelligent transportation cables worth RMB0.12 billion, and these cables have been applied to the lighting, power supply and distribution, and related facilities of toll collection communication center for the CA02 Contract Section of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Project.
