Recently, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Far East Cable Co., Ltd, subordinated to Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd (stock for “Smarter Energy”, stock code “600869”), signed supply contract and technical protocol with Electromechanical Engineering & Automation College of National University Of Defense Technology, in order to research and produce the power cable for exclusive use of magnetically levitated train using in intelligent transportation, in application of the magnetic-levitation train test of Maglev Research Center.
It is reported that on December 4, Changsha magnetic-levitation first train left from Magnetic-levitation Rail Yard Comprehensive Base, via Magnetic-levitation Li Station, and returned to Magnetic-levitation Rail Yard Comprehensive Base smoothly after arriving at Magnetic-levitation Airport Station. It was the first time of hot-gliding test carried by Changsha magnetic-levitation direct line for 18.55 km of the whole line, which marked that the first domestic medium-and-low-velocity magnetic levitation commercial operation demonstration line with entirely independent intellectual property entered into joint debugging & joint operation phase comprehensively.

At present, Far East Cable has applied for the item of core independent intellectual property and obtained national authorization, with practical new-type patent name: a kind of power cable for exclusive use of magnetically levitated train in intelligent transportation and Authorization No. (ZL 201520139902.3).
