To Be the Front Runner in Both Behavior and Performance

    On November 19, the fifth core employees speech contest of Far East Holding Group was successfully held in Harmony School of Far East University. Jiang Xipei, founder of Far East Holding Group, Chairman of Board of Directors and Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Far East University, Jiang Chengzhi, Secretary to the Board of Directors of Far East Holding Group, President of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: Smarter Energy; stock code: 600869) and Executive President of Far East University, Jiang Huajun, CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board of Smarter Energy, Ma Jun, General Manager of Wuxi Far East Real Estate Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: Far East Real Estate), Chen Biao, President of Jiangsu Luye Agrochemicals Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: Luye Agrochemicals), Zhu Changbiao, investor, Vice General Manager and CPO of Smarter Energy and President of Institute of Management of Far East University, Zhou Dongjiao, investor, President Assistant and Chief Administrative Officer, Liu Zhijun, Assistant General Manager of Smarter Energy and CEO of Anhui Cable Co., Ltd. (Abbreviation: Anhui Cable), Xu Shuguang, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Intelligence Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: Intelligence Power) and Secretary of the Party Branch, Huang Qingfeng, General Manager of Far East Material Trading Center (abbreviation: Trading Center) were invited. First-prize winners of previous speech contest constituted of judges and guests, and 30 contestants reached the final round jointly participated in the evaluation. Ren Lulu, investor and assistant to the President of Institute of Management of Far East University presided over the contest. Site evaluating system was adopted during the contest, i.e., final scores were summarized and published on site.

    After fierce competition, Liao Zhenggen of Far East Forster, Zhou Yin of the Group and Bao Tingting of relay-100 project won the first prize; Mao Xiaoying of Intelligence Power, Zhao Jie of Far East Trading Pay Network Co., Ltd. and Jiang Jian of Trading Center, Dai Dajun of Far East Cable, Chen Chong and Ye Tingting of relay-100 project won the second prize; Luo Danni, Zhang Min and Zheng Shanshan of relay-100 project and Han Junbao of Anhui Cable, Zhu Xiufang of Luye Agrochemicals, Wei Jinfeng, Xu Hua and Xue Fengrui of Far East Cable and Tang Fuying of Far East Forster won the third prize; Zhang Haiqi of relay-100 project won the Best Stage Style Award, Zou Wenrong of relay-100 project won the Best Language Award and Ding Guojun of Far East Cable won the Best Popularity Award; Xu Jing, Wang Xufeng, Shao Shuiliang and Wang Junda of Far East Cable, Mo Yunzhang of Far East Real Estate, Ye Mei of Santa Copper, Feng Yinghua and Shi Yuan of Earn Electric Apparatus and Qin Yumeng of SEMEUREKA Electrics won the Excellence Award.

Jiang Chengzhi makes an Opening Speech

    Jiang Chengzhi, in his opening speech, referred that core employees speech contest had been one of the important annual activities in the Company. This contest would be lasting for 24 days, and composed of 12 preliminary contests. 15 departments jointly held this contest, in which 505 contests would participate. It featured three distinct characteristics: I. the profound theme is “front runners oriented”; II. It is with long time span and broad participation; III. Contestants intensely compete round after round.

Jiang Xipei Delivers a Summary Address

    Jiang Xipei, in his summary address, said that he was proud of all the outstanding winners, and expressed sincere congratulations to their efforts. He also indicated, to be front runner was not only the theme of our era, but also the core of Far East culture. Far East wished to work with employees, who were ambitious, passionate and responsible, move on and face the future development, and to strive for pursuit of business, innovation, excellence, wealth creation and happiness. Our society called for those entrepreneurs with strong historic mission and responsibilities, and they were those personnel to create value and wealth and change the world. We hoped our core employees to strive for excellence, shape the moral characters and improve abilities and intelligence, to achieve better performance and work hard to become leading front runner.

Final Round

    Theme of this contest was “front runners oriented”, aiming to improve the internal communication in the Company, promote interaction between parent company and its subsidiaries, strengthen the team cohesiveness, establish the correct value orientation and build consensus as well as deepen the sharing. At the contest site, contestants transmitted positive spiritual and cultural energy by various forms: tell stories of surrounding excellent personnel, share understanding and knowledge of corporate cultural philosophy, recite their own growing and work experiences or share personal dream and pursuit.
