400-882-6908Recently, it is learnt from Jiangsu Provincial Association of Machinery Industry that after expert review, a total of 96 projects were awarded 2016 Jiangsu Machinery Industry Science and Technology Progress Award. Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Smarter Energy, Stock Code: 600869) reached new heights with 12 projects winning awards, including 2 first prizes, 3 second prizes and 7 third prizes.
In this selection, Smarter Energy’s first prize winner is the R&D and Application Research of New Energy-saving Wire Series Products, GE Transport System Locomotive Flexible Cable. Among them, the project of “R&D and Application Research of New Energy-saving Wire Series Products” was included in the provincial key research and development programs (key technologies with industry foresight and commonality) 2016 by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology. The project is based on the requirements of UHV power grid construction. It mainly addressed the key technology of UHV AC and DC transmission project and broke through the technology bottleneck of large cross-section energy-saving series wires. It has been widely used in the construction of a number of UHV lines in China. It has facilitated the construction of UHV AC and DC transmission projects featuring long distance, large capacity and span like Zhejiang-Fuzhou 1,000kV Double-circuit Line Project (Fujian section), Huainan-Nanjing-Shanghai 1,000kV UHV AC Power Transmission and Transformation Project and Jiuquan-Hunan ±800 kV UHV DC Transmission Project. The breakthrough also boosted a greater range of accommodation of clean energy like wind power and photovoltaic energy, ensured safe and reliable power supply, and further enhanced science and technology innovation ability and industry competitiveness of UHV power grid as well as related industries in China. Prior to this, new energy-saving wire series products debuted in 2016 Annual Meeting of Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE), which also attracted close attention of authoritative experts in fields of electrical engineering including research institutes, design institutes and the State Grid.
In addition, Smarter Energy’s second prize winners include the Development and Application of High-strength Heat-resistant Large-capacity Expanded Conductors for Smart Grid, Cable for Conductive Charging System of Electric Vehicles, and R&D and Industrial Application of Cable Integration Technology for Power Transmission System in New Energy PV Power Station. Smarter Energy’s third prize winners include R&D and Application of Self-bearing Bunched Insulated Cable with Rated Voltage of 0.6/1kV for Overhead Power System, R&D and Research on Industrial Application of XLPE Insulated Light Shore End Submarine (Lake) Cable with Rated Voltage of 6kV-35kV, Aluminum Alloy Conductor Extruded Insulated Frequency-conversion Power Cable with Rated Voltage of 0.6/1kV, Development and Application of Flexible Cable with High flexibility and High Wear Resistance for High Forklift, Development and Industrialization of Ecological Double Insulation Overhead Cable with Rated Voltage of 33kV or Below, Development and Application Research of Disaster-resistance Low Air Pressure Conductor for Windy Areas, and Twist-resistant Flexible Cable with Rated Voltage of 300/500V for Industrial Robots.
