Jiang Xipei: Enterprises along the “Belt and Road” Need to “Improve Capabilities” Before Going Globa

On May 15th, International Industrial Cooperation Sub-Forum of the “Belt and Road” Forum was held in Beijing. The forum was hosted by Zhao Baige, member of NPC Standing Committee, vice-chairman of NPC Foreign Affairs Committee, chairman of RDI Advisory Committee of CASS. Many important guests attended this forum such as France former Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin, Egypt former Prime Minister Essam Sharaf, UN former Deputy Secretary General Sha Zukang and Long Yongtu, the chairman of Center for China and Globalization and former Deputy Director of Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, PRC. Jiang Xipei, the founder, board chairman of Far East Holding Group Co., Ltd., as well as the party secretary of the Communist Party of China, was invited to give a speech with a companion Chen Xiaofen, the investor and senior consultant.

The keynote speech roundtable forum was hosted by Long Yongtu, and guests would exchange their ideas. They were: Jiang Xipei, Sha Zukang, Zhao Baige, Mushahid Hussain Sayed—Pakistan Senator and co-chairman of CASS RDI Advisory Committee and China-Pakistan Global Cooperation Committee, Khalid Malik, special advisor of International Development Law Organization, chairman of Global Sustainable Leaders Forum and former director of UNDP, and Chen Qiutu, chairman of China CEFC Energy Company Limited.

Jiang Xipei Delivers a Speech

Jiang Xipei said that “Belt and Road” provides new opportunities of investment and trade for countries and regions along the route; with the implementation of “Belt and Road” and increasing of international capacity cooperation, the “Going Global” of China’s enterprises also would step into a new stage. For going global, China’s enterprises need to have a solid foundation. Since its establishment, Far East has always persisted in strategy of “principal works and investment”. In the term of principal works, as a world leading system service provider in fields of smart energy and smart city, Far East is in the lead of design, planning of smart energy and detection, control of grid lines. For the field of type 18650 power lithium battery, Far East First New Energy Co., Ltd. is the largest domestic as well as global 3rd battery manufacturer; the planning construction of smart city is advanced. All of them are the foundation of Far East “Going Global”. With the historical chance—the “Belt and Road”, Far East is looking forward to promote this strategy in many aspects; make the proper contribution by combine own advantages with technology and industrial capacity of planning & design, smart products supply, EPC and energy efficiency management.

China’s good enterprises are the base and foundation of China’s economy, social development and people happiness. Therefore, with the consideration of good and strength, Government concentrates the resources on superior products to ensure mutual benefit, advantages complement and win-win.

Long Yongtu appreciates this point very much. He points out that international capacity cooperation is not “a transfer of China’s excess and outdated capacity which is a huge misunderstanding of the “Belt and Road” capacity cooperation. The Go Global enterprises for capacity cooperation all have the most advanced technology, management and certain financing capacity.

Electricity and energy are important parts of the “Belt and Road” and “Facilities Unicom”. With the promotion of “Belt and Road”, whether the UHV grid or clean energy, they all speeding up in “Going Global”, and it also brings opportunities for Smarter Energy’s principal works.
