Anhui Cable Convoys Dome Lifting of “Hualong One” 5th Reactor at Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant

    The civil engineering main construction of 5th reactor building interior structure for “Hualong One”demonstration project at Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant was completed on May 3rd, lifting the dome in this month and driving the project from civil engineering to equipment installation stage. The time node is early than planning, breaking the spell that “first reactor must be delayed” in worldwide nuclear power new technique, manifesting the super strong strength of China’s nuclear power.     The application in the first reactor project of “Hualong One” is the first appearance of K1 cable since its success R & D. “Hualong One” is the recommended main export item for promoting “Belt and Road” economic development by the government; the installation success of the first reactor dome lifting accomplishes an important node in “Hualong One” project, laying solid foundation for follow-up project progress.

    It is reported that Hualong bulk material department communicated with ANLAN in advance, sorting the risk points within contract execution process together, formulating solutions, confirming planning and scheduling and launching an urgent purchasing process for import raw material. After the purchase order release, ANLAN will arrange in-plant productive task and urgent production in time, strictly checking all production processes of cables, ensuring high quality and timely delivery. Through joint efforts of all parties, the K1 cable acceptance inspection for dome was done on March 23rd and delivered to the site on April 5th, providing a strong guarantee for the successful completion of dome lifting.
