On July 10, the Meeting of Yixing A Share Listed Company Representatives, Wuxi Association for Public Companies (hereinafter referred to as” Association”) was held in Yixing. Themed as Wuxi A share listed company assessment, the meeting aims to enhance the core competitiveness and social influence of the A share listed companies in Wuxi City (having jurisdiction over Jiangyin City and Wuxi City), standardize the quality of company information disclosure, improve the corporate governance structure of the company, and vitalize the capital market of Wuxi with A share listed companies as the leading role. On behalf of the company, Wang Zheng, Secretary of the Board of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Smarter Energy", stock code: 600869) attended the meeting.

He pointed out that the Association dedicated to help the listed companies to accelerate the industrial transformation and upgrading, enhance the effective supervision and control over listed companies by the government and market, and promote a consistent improvement for governance structure of listed companies. The positioning goal of the Association can be summarized as 16 Chinese characters, meaning:  listing promotion, training and exchange, industrial self-discipline, auxiliary supervision and control. At present, the Association is working actively around the strategic policy of building Wuxi into a strong industrial city, cultivating a group of listed companies with a market value of over RMB 50 billion, making full preparation for the training and guidance of the companies to be listed, and performing well in the New Third Board business..

Afterwards, Zhang Xiaochun, Chief Analyst of macro strategy of Guolian Securities introduced The Methods of Assessment of Wuxi A Share Listed Companies (hereinafter referred to as “The Methods”) led by the Association, researched and formulated by enterprises such as Guolian Securities. The presented guests discussed various appraisal indexes listed in The Methods.

During the symposium, Wang Zheng proposed that the assessment for appraisal index of the market value in The Methods should be detailed. For different industries, different treatment should be adopted in terms of the actual situation instead of regarding this as single indicator to conduct assessment. In addition, Wang Zheng also proposed that the Association should set up the “Award for the Industrial Leading Enterprises” to encourage and support the development of the national emerging sectors of strategic importance under the jurisdiction of Wuxi City. Taking the emerging enterprises as the driving force, the Association should lead all the enterprises in Wuxi to upgrade industries, and make greater contribution to the economic development of Wuxi.
