Jiang Xipei Is Awarded the Most Respected Characters among Jiangsu Entrepreneurs

From August 8 to 9, the “The Sixth Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Conference 2018” sponsored by Jiangsu Sushang Development Promotion Association was held in Nanjing. The conference is themed with “Forty Years—New Breakthroughs of Reformers”. Ma Qiulin, Deputy Governor of Jiangsu Province, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Li Daokui, President of China Economic Thought and Practice Research Institute of Tsinghua University, also delivered a keynote speech. More than 600 Jiangsu entrepreneurs from home and abroad gathered in Nanjing to salute to the reform and opening up and discuss the strategic plan of changes. Jiang Xipei, Founder, Chairman of the Board and Secretary of the Party Committee of Far East Holding Group, was invited to attend the conference, and delivered a keynote speech, winning the title of “the Most Respected Characters among Jiangsu Entrepreneurs in the 40 Years of Reform and Opening up”.

Deputy Governor Ma Qiulin addresses the conference

“Over the 40 years since the reform and opening up, Jiangsu has achieved great success in economic development, which is inseparable from the joint efforts of a vast number of Jiangsu enterprises,” said Ma Qiulin, Deputy Governor of Jiangsu Province. The strong vitality of the private economy and the enormous potentiality of the real economy are important cornerstones for the steady economic development of Jiangsu Province. In the new era, Jiangsu’s industries must be promoted to the medium- and high-end industrial value chain all over the world by following the requirements of high- quality development.

President Li Daokui addresses the conference

Starting from the changes and evolution of the macroeconomic situation, Li Daokui deeply analyzed the current financial and monetary policies for the economic development in China and the reasons and trends of the China-US trade war. Li Daokui pointed out that the national transportation and commercial transportation are inseparable, and the business transportation depends on the national transportation. From the perspective of supply-side structural reform, he made a “prescription” for the industrial management of Jiangsu: building a good supply chain, basing itself on both international and domestic markets, and adjusting and developing on the basis of adhering to its own cultural genes and industrial characteristics.

Prof. Qian Zhixin delivers a speech

Prof. Qian Zhixin put forward 7 points of thinking about the digital transformation from the driving force of high-quality development in Jiangsu. He said that the small-scale development relies on diligence and the large-scale development counts on the general trend. In the future, data will dominate the world; digital upgrading does not lies in the system, but in thinking and mechanism, as well as understanding and recognition of the digital dividend. If Jiangsu enterprises want to walk in front of the tide of the times, the most popular “trend”—digital dividend must be seized.

Jiang Xipei gives a keynote speech

At the Forum on Empowering High-quality Development for Jiangsu Enterprises, Jiang Xipei, along with Chen Jinshi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zhongnan Group Co., Ltd., Yu Yapeng, President of CITIC Pacific Special Steel Holdings, Yang Yongqing, Chairman of SUMEC Group Corporation, and Shen Xiguo, General Manager of China Great Wall Asset Management Co., Ltd. Jiangsu Branch delivered the speech. They shared their thoughts on innovation and changes, and responded to the challenges of the new era with vivid corporate practices.  

Jiang Xipei proposed that it is the best time to do business, also the most difficult time for doing business. To release the burden on enterprises and enhance the vitality of enterprises does not only require the government and enterprises to have confidence, but also require enterprises to keep pace with China. Moreover, Jiang Xipei also stressed the importance of the legal environment, the public opinion environment and the business environment. At the conference, he put forward suggestions such as reducing taxes and fees, cancelling the launch requirements for stock pledge rate, and revising the Bid Invitation and Bidding.

 “Jiangsu entrepreneurs are actually full of connections, wisdoms, minds and strengths. They have good reputation and advantages in domestic and even international markets. We need to constantly communicate with markets and customers and build new links, and think what they think. To solve substantive problems for them and for society makes enterprises more valuable and more meaningful,” Jiang Xipei suggested when speaking of corporate positioning.

At the end of the conference, Jiang Xipei stressed that it is the compelling obligation of Chinese entrepreneurs, especially those in Jiangsu, so as to get China stand up, rich and strong.
