The 12 New Products of Far East Smarter Energy Were Approved with Broad Market Prospect

On December 20, Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd (Far East Smarter Energy for short with stock code: 600869) appraisal meeting on new products organized by Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission was over. Upon the appraisal by experts, among the 12 new products of Far East Cable Co., Ltd. subordinated to Far East Smarter Energy, 5 products of them had reached to international advanced level, 7 products of them had reached to domestic advanced level, which laid solid foundation for the sustainable development of Far East Smarter Energy.

The appraisal meeting on new products this time took Director of TICW Wu Changshun as the director of appraisal commission, and took Professor Cao Xiaolong from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Professor Jiang Pingkai from Shanghai Jiaotong University, etc. as committee members, and had field evaluation for the 12 new products researched and developed independently by Far East. In appraisal meeting, the attended experts listened to the research report and test report, etc. on new products made by Senior Vice-General Manager and CTO, CQO in cable industry of Far East Smarter Energy Wang Chuanbin and the R&D staff of the technology research institute of company, reviewed the related technical documents, and investigated the production field.

Upon discussion, experts considered unanimously that, the 12 new products had mature manufacturing technique, advanced manufacturing equipments, complete detection means, and they agreed that they could be produced in bulk by appraisal. The 5 products, namely, “the 31/54kV flexible cable used for motor train unit”, “MV105 highly flame-resistant flexible cable for wind power generation approved by UL/CSA”, “plastic insulated electric wire (UL83) used in smart construction”, “ecotype dual-insulated aerial cable with nominal voltage 33kV or below”, “power cable made from anti-water tree cross-linked polyethylene insulated concentric neutral conductor”, had reached to international advanced level. The 7 products, namely, “special cable for shield machine with nominal voltage 8.7/15kV or below”, “cable wiring harness and pressure welding terminal used for wind power generation”, “inorganic mineral insulated copper sheath prefabricated branch fireproof cable with nominal voltage 0.6/1kV”, “crosslinked polyethylene insulated power cable of variable frequency made by aluminium alloy conductor with nominal voltage 0.6/1kV”, “double-layer extrusion insulated irradiation crosslinking halogen-free flame-retardant power cable of low smoke with nominal voltage 0.6/1kV”, “EPR insulated lead-cored sheath galvanized steel strip shield oil-submerged pump flat-shaped power cable”, “highly anti-wrenching flexible cable used in wind power generation with nominal voltage 1.8/3kV or below”, had reached to domestic advanced level.

As indicated by the attended experts, the 12 new products of Far East Cable had great innovativeness, environmental protection property, market orientation and other characteristics, and their R&D achievements were in close integration with national policy, which had broad prospects in international and domestic markets. Meanwhile, they gave full affirmation for the only enterprise winning National Quality Award within the industry-the scientific research strength of Far East Cable.
