7 Projects of FE Smarter Energy Won Jiangsu Mechanical Industry Science & Technology Progress Award

Recently, Jiangsu Provincial Association of Machinery Industry issued Notification On Commending the Winning Projects of 2015 Jiangsu Mechanical Industry Science & Technology Progress Award for General Information, Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd (Far East Smarter Energy for short with stock code: 600869) achieved good performance again, with 7 projects winning prizes in total, among which there were 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 4 third prizes.

In this appraisal and selection, the project “R&D and application of 1250mm² large-section energy-conservation series of wire used in UHV transmission line”, declared by the wholly-owned subsidiary New Far East Cable Co., Ltd subordinated to Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd, won the first prize; the project “R&D and industrialization application research of aluminum alloy power cable in wind power tower tube with nominal voltage 1kV (Um=1.2kV) specially used in Siemens” won the second prize; the projects “R&D and application of industrialization for pneumatic blowing-in type optical fiber composite power cable with nominal voltage 35kV and below”, “flexible cable with nominal voltage 2kV and below on 125℃ oceaneering petroleum platform”, “R&D and application of new energy-saving type aluminum-wrapping steel-cored stranded conductor with high conductivity”, the above projects had the honor to win the third prize. The project “R&D and application of UL/CSA wind power generation 1.8/3kV and below low-temperature anti-wrenching high flame-resistant flexible cable”, declared by the wholly-owned subsidiary Far East Cable Co., Ltd, had the honor to win the second prize; the project “R&D and industrialization” of high anti-distorting drag chain cable with nominal voltage 0.6/1kV and below used in industrial automation had the honor to win the third prize.

7 new products of Far East Smarter Energy were loved deeply by users after putting into production, and were appraised to be Jiangsu new high-tech products by Science & Technology Office of Jiangsu Province at the same year, which had been successfully applied in national smart power grids, clean energy, smart city (smart building), high-end equipment, marine engineering and other market fields largely with broad market prospect, and had become the new economic growth points of Far East Smarter Energy.

It is reported that, Jiangsu Machinery Industry Science and Technology Progress Award was the award set to comprehensively implement and practice Scientific Outlook on Development, speed up transformation of technological innovation, make more efforts to tackle key problems in technological innovation, promote scientific and technological progress in provincial machinery industry, realize equipment manufacturing making province and country more powerful by Jiangsu Provincial Association of Machinery Industry. The review committee of 2015 Jiangsu Machinery Industry Science and Technology Progress Award appraised 81 winning projects totally in the machinery industry of the whole province, among which there were 15 first prizes, 25 second prizes, and 41 third prizes.
