On July 2nd, Far East Holding Group and Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation (abbreviation: ZTE) held the fifth stage International Senior Management Exchange Activity, about the theme “New Challenges to Human Resources Brought about by Multinational Management”. People participating in the activity included Executive Vice-President of ZTE Chen Jianzhou, Marketing Director of ZTE University Sang Zhaohui, Regional Marketing Director of ZTE Zhang Ying, Board Chairman and CEO of Far East Holding Group Jiang Xipei, Director and CEO of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd (abbreviation: Smarter Energy; stock code: 600869) Jiang Huajun, Director and Secretary of the Board of Far East Holding Group Jiang Chengzhi, CFO and Secretary of the Board of Smarter Energy Wan Jun, Investor and COO of Smarter Energy Chen Jing, Deputy Director of Human Resources of Far East Holding Group Meng Xiangbo, Dean Assistant of College of Management of Far East University Ren Lulu and related personnel.



Jiang Xipei made a speech

At the forum, Jiang Xipei pointed out that Far East was founded in 1990 and the management team put forward the slogan “Start a New Undertaking” at the 20th anniversary. Over the past six years,Far East’s Strategic Transformation has landed successfully, maintaining the development at high speed under the economic new normal. ZTE, whose start-up time is similar toFar East’s, has been keeping the mindset of competition and responsibility, grasping core elements and innovating actively and has walked out a solid internationalization road by clear strategic direction and foresight under the leadership of the team centering on the President Hou Weigui.

Currently, Far East is at the juncture of facing the internationalization and ZTE’s experience is vital toFar East. Jiang Xipei affirmed the achievements after holding International Senior Management Exchange Activity. Middle and top managers of Far East have broadened their views through international talents training project which lay a good foundation forFar East’s internationalization strategies. He expressed his gratitude to ZTE for its great kindness toFar Eastand hoped to strengthen the communication with ZTE and promote the collaboration.

He pointed out that Far East was established in the domestic market and had made some beneficial attempts in the international markets, hoping ZTE continue supportingFar East’s internationalization development.

Jiang Chengzhi introduced the basic situation of Far East Holding Group.Far Easttakes “main business + investment” as the development strategy and insists the “endogenous + exogenous” development pattern. The main business of Far East focuses on “smarter energy and smarter city system service providers”, gradually shaping systematic and international smarter energy which forms the competitive strength. In terms of the investment,Far East is constantly optimizing the allocation of resources. At present, the number of the enterprises in which Far East invests has reached 328. These enterprises are involved with great health, consumption, financial management of family assets and many other fields. He pointed out that, in recent years,Far East had been continuously speeding up the pace of internationalization and had set the goals of internationalization: the proportion of international business and foreign employees had better reach 20 percent till 2020. What’s more, human resources are crucial in an enterprise’s internationalization strategies and ZTE’s experience and overall arrangement are worth Far East learning. Jiang Chengzhi also expressed his hope to be able to deep communicate with and learn from ZTE.

Chen Jianzhou introduced the development history of ZTE and summarized the lessons in the process of ZTE’s implement of internationalization strategies. He elaborated the importance of working out the right strategic development planning of an enterprise by the examples of Nokia, Apple and other internationally famous enterprises. He indicated that five aspects need attaching importance to in the internationalization of an enterprise: scientific and reasonable internationalization strategies, talent support which matches internationalization strategies, the balance between risk and opportunity, a win-win situation between the talents and the enterprises and the social responsibility of the enterprise. The vitality of an enterprise is not only embodied in the good time, but also highlighted in the tough time. Crisis is a challenge to combat effectiveness of the management team, including the top managers’ capacity of making decision and stabilizing the overall situation and the middle level’s power on implement. And then, it is whether an enterprise can seize new opportunities, new strategies and new markets that largely can determine whether an enterprise’s strategic targets can be realized. In the end, He emphasized that as long asFar Eastand ZTE must maintain private enterprises’ vitality and high efficiency, continuously strengthen the capacity of gaining resources and grasp opportunities actively, the strategic development goals till 2020 definitely can be achieved.
