On 1st August, closing ceremony of “The Seventh Auditorium for Leaders of Chinese Media” was held in Shanghai Jiaotong University Minhang Campus, Zhu Jian deputy secretary of Party Committee in Shanghai Jiaotong University, director of National Undergraduate Culture and Quality-Oriented Education Base, Xie Yungen project leader, special-appointed professor of Shanghai Jiaotong University, president of China Journalism History Committee Public Opinion Research Committee etc attended the closing ceremony. Zhou Dongjiao president assistant, chief administrative officer of Far East Holding Group，execute director of Far East Charity Foundation was invited to attend and made speech with the topic of The Same World was Watched, The Different World was Seen. Gong Miaolin senior advisor of Far East Holding Group, Kong Qunling manager of Party Labor Group Alliance, Qi Mengmeng, Zhang Yunfei director assistant of Brand Cultural Center etc attended the activity.
Zhu Jian makes a speech
In closing ceremony, Zhu Jian showed gratitude to sponsor-Far East Holding Group and honored guests gave lessons. He thought “Auditorium for Leaders of Chinese Media” broke through the barrier existed between educational circles and industry, broke the regional restriction of traditional school and gave more learning opportunity to students attended the ceremony. In addition, the auditorium pushed out 1+X pattern and derived different academic projects such as global forum of new media and social development, academic forum for national postgraduates of new media and social development.
Xie Yungeng makes speech
Professor Xie Yungeng pointed out, “Auditorium for Leaders of Chinese Media” was the starting point for the dream of everybody, it may become the stage for everyone to show their thought and ability after many years, and he expressed his expectation for student. He hoped student could return back to “Auditorium for Leaders of Chinese Media” as leaders in educational circles, elites in industry with their comprehension for life, experience for employment and academic achievement.
Zhou Dongjiao makes keynote speech
Zhou Dongjiao introduced Far East Holding Group in three aspects: “having altitude, having temperature, having breadth”. She quoted the words from general secretary Xi “China belongs to a group of people with right knowledge, mindfulness, positive energy in the future.” and combined with many vivid cases to point out that media person should keep watch on society, criticize social evils, uphold justice, spread goodwill, enlighten heart, sublime value, use responsibility to win trust, use deed to look for status in order to be a media person with conscience.
She pointed out that it was new economic era currently, and it was “heart economy” era, media person should nourish heart and practice for heart for themselves; understand others and open hearts to others; understand organization and with one heart to organization. She started from the influence IQ, EQ have on personnel development and used many living examples to illustrate the road to success vividly. She hoped media person could get refined internally and externally, illuminate affairs of human life and be a media person who understands humanity.
Zhou Dongjiao interprets true meaning of “study and practice”
She interpreted “study and practice” by splitting Chinese character and pointed out “study” needed curiosity, modesty, happiness, “practice” should be positive going, astir, continuous. For “study and practice”, knowledge and action are one, “study” and “practice” combined with each other, and they were the true way of study. She developed a new style to illustrate “badness”, “beginning”, “value”, “deception”, “winning” etc to reveal the principle of conducting oneself and handling affairs. She hoped media person could learn continuously, strive to be better and be a media person emphasizes on academic achievements.
At last, she sent words to everybody: remember initial heart, face on target, and concentrate on current situation all the time, move forward roughly and view all scenes all the way!

In artistic performance stage of students, students used several forms of program such as dance, stage show, singing, reading etc to review the experience and harvest in the week, also expressed respect and thanks to teachers gave lessons. After performance, issuing ceremony of Certificate of Completion was held at site. Zhu Jian, Xie Yungeng and Zhou Dongjiao etc issue Certificate of Completion to students and took photos to mark the occasion.

“Auditorium for Leaders of Chinese Media” was hosted by Shanghai Jiaotong University Arts and Humanities Research Institute Far East academy of classical learning and Shanghai Jiaotong University Graduate School, guided by Shanghai Jiaotong University Party Committee Publicity Department and sponsored by Far East Holding Group. After six years of experience, it discards the dross and selects the essence, it devotes to creating a media stage which is more open, multiple, splendid and abundant; it devotes to integrating the powerful support from government, media, colleges and enterprises to the limit, and more than 2400 media person has benefited from it.
