Overhead conductors are an important part of transmission and transformation project. As the upgrading of the state grid project, the overhead conductor’s technology is continuously upgrading. In 2001, Board Chairman and CEO of Far East Holding Group Jiang Xipei heard about that CTC in America have developed Carbon Fiber Aluminum Conductor Composite Core (ACCC). In April 2011, the State Grid's first carbon fiber transmission line was successfully connected to the grid in the 220kV Xibaipo —— Ping Shan double circuit line reconstruction project, which pioneered the application of China's carbon fiber wire with the highest level and the largest specification in the 220kV line.
