Far East Holding Group: Care for Staff and Support Staff’s Children to Continue Their Studies

    On October 6, "2016 Far East Holding Group Scholarship Award Ceremony for High School or College Entrance Examination" was held in Harmony School, Far East University. The children of 89 staff were awarded during the ceremony. Over the years, adhering to the idea of “Respect Staff, Cultivate Staff and Help Staff to Success”, Far East Holding Group always care for staff, focus on the development of staff and extend the love to their families. The company established “High School and College Entrance Examination Scholarship” in 2006 and has been issuing scholarship for 10 years up to now, totally giving over RMB 1.3 million of scholarship to staff’s children to continue their studies.


Zhou Dongjiao Making a Speech

    Zhou Dongjiao: EQ is more important than IQ and family education is more important than school education.

  Zhou Dongjiao, Assistant President and Chief Administrative Officer of Far East Holding Group, gave a speech at the ceremony. First she extended her congratulations to the workers and their children who won the award.She said “EQ is more important than IQ and family education is more important than school education”, hoping that students will work hard to respond to the new expectations, adjust themselves to adapt to the new environment and learn the essence of it, practice and think on the new platform to show their talents and perform and create bravely on the new stage. Finally she encouraged students to “think unrestrainedly and work steadily” to obtain the promotion and make the progress and witness the growth all the time.

    Zhang Xinlin: Habit, Method and Confidence

    Zhang Xinlin, Vice General Manager and General Manager of System Integration Department of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (referred to as Smarter Energy, Stock Code: 600869), gave a speech as the representative of the parents of students who took high school entrance examination and shared his education idea – “Habit, Method and Confidence”. He said that habit has an important influence towards the life location and life-long development of children and children will benefit from good habit throughout the life. Method is the necessary condition for children to success and good method will help children to yield twice the result with half the effort. Confidence is the essential mental state to face the challenges of life as well as the foundation stone and source for children to be successful.


Representatives of Parents and Students Delivering the Speeches

  Shen Changchun, representative of the parents of students who took high school entrance examination, and Jiang Panmin, representative of the parents of students who took college entrance examination, shared their ideas of family education respectively. Gao Jing, representative of students who took college entrance examination, gave a speech about her understanding of learning. Both the parents and students appreciated the concern of Far East towards them.

  Many guests attended the ceremony and present the award to workers and their children, including Tan Aimin, Investor and Director of Group President Work Department, Meng Xiangbo, Director of Smarter Energy General Manager Work Department, Kong Qunling, Director of Group CPC Mass Organization, Du Jie, Investor and Assistant Dean of Marketing Academy of Far East University, Dai Dajun, Director Assistant of Smarter Energy General Manager Work Department, and Ren Lulu, Assistant Dean of College of Management of Far East University.
