Wuxi Group of Deputies to Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress Visits Far East for Research and Exch

    On the afternoon of October 13, led by Wang Yuanhui, deputy to Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress and director general of Jiangsu Administration of Industry and Commerce, and Shen Jian, deputy to Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress and secretary of the CPC Committee of Yixing City, Wuxi Group of deputies to Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress visited Far East for inspection, research and exchange. Jiang Xipei, deputy to Jiangsu Provincial People’s Congress, secretary of Far East Holding Group Party Committee, chairman of the board and CEO, and Jiang Huajun, member of Wuxi CPPCC, vice chairman and CEO of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (referred to as Smarter Energy, stock code: 600869) welcomed and received the guests.

Discussion and Exchange

    During the discussion and exchange, Wang Yuanhui and Shen Jian consulted with the deputies about the development of their industries and enterprises, compared notes on the key emphasis on work of Provincial and Municipal People’s Congress, and economy and business development in Wuxi, Yixing and Jiangyin.

    Finally, the deputies visited the science and technology museum of Smarter Energy, listened to Jiang Xipei’s introduction about the strategic transformation of Smarter Energy. He said that Smarter Energy has been focusing on the goal of becoming a “Smarter Energy and Intelligent City System Service Provider”, steadily implementing its business plans and improving its industrial chain layout. In the first half of 2016, Smarter Energy achieved operating income of RMB 5,649,095,000, a year-on-year growth of 8.71%; net profit excluding non-recurring gains and losses of RMB 198,175,000, a year-on-year growth of 66.69%. Wang Yuanhui and the delegation highly recognized Far East’s strategy of taking the initiative to seek transformation and upgrading, promoting strategic cooperation and seizing development opportunities.
