General Election Takes on A New Look, and Transformation & Development Bring a New Start

    On November 3, Committee Election Meeting of Far East Holding Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Far East”) was held in Harmony School, Far East University. Present members include: Jiang Bo (Deputy Secretary of Party Committee in Gao Cheng Town), Jiang Xipei (Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Far East), Zhang Xilan (Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Board), Zhu Changbiao (member of the Party Committee, Vice General Manager of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (Abbreviation: “Smarter Energy”, Stock Code: 600869) and Chief Production Officer of cable industry), Zhou Dongjiao (member of the Party Committee, Assistant to Group President and Chief Administrative Officer), Xu Jianjun (member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Far East) and other committees, as well as more than 300 local party representatives of Headquarter. 　　The meeting was kicked off as the solemn national anthem rang. Jiang Xipei gave the Work Report representing the fifth Committee of Far East. He pointed out: under the leadership of superior Party Committee, the current party committee thoroughly studied and implemented President Xi’s series of important speeches, and in particular the spirit of President Xi’s import speech in his inspection to Jiangsu. The current party committee kept high consistence in thought and action with the Party Central Committee; put the development as the primary task; further deepened the reform and development of Far East; gave full play to the political core role of Party Committee, fortress role of Party branch, pioneer and model role of party members, and successfully completed the established tasks and objectives.

     I. Center on Economic Development and Grasp Party Building Work.

    Far East remained to the principle of “Centering on Economic Development and Grasping Party Building Work”, to promote the common development of Party building and economy. During the tenure of current Party Committee, Far East realized the coordinated, rapid, healthy and stable development. It ranked the Top 500 Chinese Enterprises and the Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises.

     II. Improve The Construction of Organization and Strength The Training of Party Member.

    Far East promoted the construction of organization in three aspects: strength the integrity building; perfect the network of Party Organization; conduct advanced nature education consistently.

     III. Strength the Position Building and Standardize The System of Party Building.

    Position building of Party activity is the basis to carry out Party building. Far East established the “Five Room, One University and One Center” successively, to provide good environment and condition in study and activity for Party members. According to the features of decentralized Party member and difficult management, Party Committee established and implemented the Party Procedure Rules and Regular Meeting System of Party and Government Leaders etc., to keep the high-level operation of Party building work and fully reflect the political core role of Party Organization.

     IV. Play Vanguard Role of Party Member and Create The Public Welfare Platform.

    Under the leadership of Party Committee, the Board determined the key fields of public welfare, including: the disabled career, education career, poverty alleviation and earthquake relief etc. In addition, it prepared corresponding public welfare plans and budgets, to carry out the public welfare activities practically.

    He stressed that the whole members must do the following to promote the Party building work of Far East: firstly, enhance the Party building; secondly, stick to scientific outlook on development; thirdly remain economic development as our central task; fourthly, stick to pragmatic working style; fifthly. constantly improve the building of enterprise culture focused on “Excellent Employees Oriented”; finally. unswervingly deepen reform and innovation of enterprise.

    He required that the whole Party members shall rally closer around the CPC Central Committee headed by General Secretary Xi Jinping. Under the leadership of superior Party Committee, center on the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” and 2020 strategic objective of company, to actively adapt to the new normal in economic development. Let us strive to build a moderately prosperous society, create a new pattern of “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” development and build the new “Strength, Rich, Beauty and High” Yixing: take the innovative, coordinated, green, open, and shared development as our guidance; take “Global Investment Management Expert, Smarter Energy Expert” as our direction; take to become “The Enterprise Loved by Employees and Respected by Society” as our vision.

　　According to the Method of Election Regulations, present Party members deliberated and passed the scrutineer and vote counters list; publicized the list of 11 candidates as well as resumes; present Party members put secret ballots. Through vote and election by the whole present Party members and under careful and rigorous scrutinizing and vote counting, 9 members of the sixth Party Committee of Far East were elected: Jiang Xipei, Zhang Xilan, Jiang Chengzhi, Jiang Huajun, Zhou Dongjiao, Zhu Changbiao, Xu Jianjun, Chen Jing and Wang Xiaoqiang.
