Anhui Cable of Smarter Energy Wins the Science and Technology Award of China Nuclear Energy Associat

    On December 1, the result of 2016 Science and Technology Award of China Nuclear Energy Association was announced and the “Hualong No.1 Cable for Class 1E Harsh Environment” project, jointly researched and developed by Anhui Cable Co., Ltd. (Abbreviation: Anhui Cable), subsidiary of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (Abbreviation: Smarter Energy Stock code: 600869), and China Nuclear Power Engineering Co. Ltd., won the second prize.

　　Hualong No.1 cable for Class 1E harsh environment, one of the important supporting products of nuclear power plant, is mainly used in power transmission, control and measurement system of nuclear power plant and it is the main artery that guarantees the smooth operation of the systems. Since the cable for harsh environment in nuclear power plant is used inside the containment of nuclear power plant where the environment is harsh and the security requirements for cables are high, the cables should meet the operating requirements under both normal conditions and severe accident conditions. After over two-year hard work, Anhui Cable and China Nuclear Power Engineering overcame numerous difficulties, broke the bottleneck in key technologies and finally successfully researched and developed the Hualong No.1 cable for Class 1E harsh environment, filling the gap in this field in China. Anhui Cable Became the first enterprise that passed the appraisal of this cable.

　　Recently, reports of success kept pouring in Smarter Energy, such as the “Contribution Award for Construction of Hainan Wenchang Satellite Launch Center”, a letter of thanks from the Equipment Department of Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, and this Science and Technology Award of China Nuclear Energy Association, indicating that Smarter Energy had made significant achievements in the R&D and expansion in such high value-added special cable fields as aerospace and nuclear power. As the competition in cable sector becomes more and more fierce, Smarter Energy, with its advanced R&D and manufacturing level in cable sector and all-round service ability in pre-sales, sales and post-sales, keeps climbing towards the higher position in cable industry chain and continues to take the lead in cable sector and be the leading service provider of electric system.
