Jiang Xipei Attended “2016 Dacheng Private Enterprise Leaders’ Salon”

    In order to analyze economic development trend at home and abroad and explore the way of private enterprises to transformation and innovation, Dacheng Institute of Enterprise Research held the “Dacheng Private Enterprise Leaders’ Salon” from November 8 to November 10 in Changsha and the roundtable meeting at the same time.

    Jiang Xipei, founder of Far East Holding Group, Chairman of Board of Directors and Secretary of the Party Committee attended it, together with more than 60 presidents or strategic decision-makers of large-scale private enterprises and over 140 retinues, including Huang Mengfu, Vice Chairman of the 10th and the 11th CPPCC and Honorary Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Hu Deping, former Deputy Director of the United Front Work of the CPC Central Committee, Xie Boyang, Counselor of the State Council and former Vice Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Liang Xinjun, Vice President of Fosun Group, Wang Yusuo, Chairman of the Board of ENN Group and Dai Sijia, Chairman of the Board of GP Electric Power Group, who delivered speeches centering on the theme of “Exploration from Following to Leading – the Innovation Path of Private Enterprises”.

    Huang Mengfu made a keynote speech on site. Mr. Huang analyzed current global economy, summarized the existing development of scientific and technological industry of China and expressed his confidence in China’s economic development. He also encouraged entrepreneurs to seize opportunities and make more efforts to facilitate the economic development of China and become the backbone force in the national economy. He spoke highly of the “Dacheng Private Enterprise Leaders’ Salon” as a platform for entrepreneurs to have a heart-to-heart talk and express real ideas and opinions.

    Wang Hongguang, Vice Director of Chinese Academy of Science and Technology for Development, delivered an instructive speech titled as “Major Field of Domestic and International Technological Innovation, Technology and Industrialization Prospect”. From such aspects as government and enterprise investment as well as the number of thesis paper and patent, Mr. Wang predicted the turning points for growth of different industries of China in the following ten years, domestic and international technological innovations, investment priorities and industrialization prospect based on scientific data. He also introduced leading or less-developed technological areas and how enterprises grasp key points and directions of global technological innovation. The speech delivered by Professor Wang provided a reference and basis for strategic development direction of enterprises and the developing path of technology, inspired participants to be confident in the technological development of China and was also widely acclaimed by entrepreneurs.

     After the instructive speech made by Professor Wang Hongguang, such entrepreneurs as Jiang Xipei, Liang Xinjun, Wen Yibo, Sun Weimin, Tang Xiuguo, Wang Jianyi, Shi Jie, Fu Jun, Li Hejun, Zheng Yuewen, Deng Wei, Huang Daifang, Liu Haitao, Ding Zuohong, Yang Guisheng, Wang Zaixing and Yang Zongxin also gave speeches to introduce their insights and thoughts of the enterprise development toward technological development based on enterprise practice, strategic option, policy demand, international trend, etc.

    At the roundtable meeting, Jiang Xipei indicated that power development was currently faced with macroeconomic transition. Electricity consumption growth and energy transformation synchronized. With the promotion of power reform, the development of energy service industry was accelerated. Moreover, distributed energy development would be the key to the development of modern energy system. He also pointed out that if a private enterprise cannot achieve internet+ or IOT+, it cannot survive and develop. The top-level design should be strengthened to facilitate private entrepreneurs with historical mission and responsibility to obtain due resources and environment with respect to resource allocation and policy environment. To some extent, private enterprise stands for market economy. If much attention and more supports are given to private enterprises, they would create more values.

Jiang Xipei delivers a speech at the meeting

     At the Salon on November 9, experts and entrepreneurs focused on the theme to express their opinions and make exchanges. Jiang Xipei shared his views: 1. Risk control: Under current economic situation, legal control and financial risk management were required for enterprise development. The integrity system for the whole society was necessary to be improved; 2. Opportunity seeking: Taking the development strategy of “main business + investment” of Far East Holding Group as an example, he addressed that Far East Group persisted in the main business of “smart energy and smart city system service provider” and sought opportunities to increase investment income at the same time; 3. Share and win-win: This was an era integrating resources. Information, resources and projects were taken advantages of to achieve resource sharing and win-win cooperation; 4. Enterprise inheritance: The proportion and the position of private enterprise were higher. Entrepreneurs should consider long-range programs, establish family inheritance mechanism and optimize good genes as early as possible. It is vital for family enterprises, or private enterprises, even China’s economy.

    At the Salon, three research reports by Dacheng Institute of Enterprise Research were distributed to all entrepreneurs, including “Report on Critical Data Analysis for Private Investment and Private Economy Development”, “A Recovery Increase of Private Investment Depending on Simultaneous Implementation of Several Important Policies - Private Investment Analysis (January to September, 2016)” and “Wealth: Accumulation and Responsibility - Research on Wealth Management of Chinese Private Entrepreneurs”. At the Salon, questionnaires were distributed to entrepreneurs. Analysis results were obtained and given to entrepreneurs on the same day.

    The Salon remains the small scale, high level, closed and non-offical mode and highlights equal participation, exchanges and mutual learning, creating a platform for entrepreneurs to speak out freely and exchange ideas and opinions.
