On September 29, the Fourth Harmony Auditorium of Far East Holding Group was held in Far East University. Themed as the industry news and self-enhancement, the lecture specially invited Mao Qingchuan, Chief Technologist of Shanghai Electric Cable Research Institute, Chief Expert of National Wire and Cable Quality Supervision and Inspection Center and Director of Special Committee of Wire and Cable of China Electrotechnical Society to make the report on cable revolution and innovation transformation centering on the theme of “Innovation + Transformation + Worldwide Promotion on the Sustainable Development of Cable Enterprises”.

Mao Qingchuan makes the report on cable revolution and innovation transformation
Professor Mao Qingchuan succinctly analyzed the national innovation strategy and industrial policies. From the perspective of the development of cable market at home and abroad, he introduced the development pattern of domestic and foreign typical cable enterprises, confessing that the cost of production orientation and business revolution will promote the Third Great Revolution in cable industry in the next 5 to 10 years. Basing on the significant measures including business innovation, technological innovation and intelligent manufacturing, he exchanged with participating leaders on aspects like the improvement of enterprise competitiveness and the lead of transformation and development of enterprise.

Zhu Changbiao delivered high praise and approval to the lecture made by Mao Qingchuan. He complimented that Prof. Mao is not only an expert on cable technology, but also the management expert on cable manufacturing. He emphasized that under the present status of fierce competition in the industry, the transformation development is the inevitable course. But due to the rich experience shared in the lecture by Prof. Mao, and the heated exchanges among students, as well as the reason that Prof. Mao must return to Shanghai on that day, the lecture came to an end at 21:00 in the atmosphere of unsatisfying pleasure. Participants gained knowledge in the learning process, and moreover improved themselves from the harvest.
