92 Enterprises Invested by Far East Listed and BGI’s IPO Application Approved

    Far East Holding Group Co., Ltd. Keeps to “main business + investment” as its development strategy, focusing on investing in enterprises of smart energy, big health, big consumption, food and beverage, advanced manufacturing, industrial automation and cloud computing. In May 2017, the enterprise invested in by Far East Holding Group Co., Ltd. presented new good performance in capital market: Shenzhen BGI Co., Ltd. (BGI for short) had its IPO application approved, which marked that the leading gene sequencing company would soon march into capital market.

    According to the 2017 45th Meeting Examination Result published by Growth Enterprise Market Issuance Examination Committee of CSRC on May 24, 2017, two companies including BGI had their IPO application approved.

    BGI, founded in 1999, is the world's largest genomics R&D institution. There are altogether 92 listed enterprises (28 listed in "New Third Board"); 2 enterprises are waiting for issuance; 13 enterprises are on the pre-announcement name lists.
