400-882-6908Recently, Zhu Xufeng, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yixing Municipal Committee and Director of Management Committee of Yixing Environmental Protection and Sci-tech Industrial Park (hereinafter referred to as “Yixing Industrial Park”), and his panel including Jiang Xipei, founder, Chairman of the Board and Secretary of the CPC Committee of Far East Holding Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Far East”), Shao Liang, investor, Supervisor of Far East and Director of General Manager Service Department of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Smarter Energy”, stock code: 600869), leaders of relevant government departments and representatives of environmental protection enterprises paid a survey visit to Finland and UK. The delegation visited relevant governmental agencies and key enterprises, and held several international technical exchange meetings with Finland Nuozhong Capital, Lappeenranta Municipal Government of Finland, Lappeenranta University of Technology, Wirma Science Park, Visedo, Warwickshire Government of UK, Detroit Electric, Deal Global Group and Department for International Trade of UK.
The survey visit has effectively promoted the development of a batch of energy-saving and environmental-friendly emerging industrial projects and modern service projects, including new energy vehicle, battery management system, battery packaging technology, soil remediation, sludge treatment for sponge cities, treatment of domestic sewage, application of wind energy and solar energy, environmental protection fund and construction of eco-town, and reached numerous cooperation agreements, obtaining fruitful achievements.

The delegation paid a visit to Lappeenranta Municipal Government of Finland. Malegue, Special Assistant to the Mayor of Lappeenranta Municipal Government and City Development Manager, indicated that Yixing Industrial Park had international concept of management and cooperation and established a long-term partnership with Lappeenranta Municipal Government. Since Yixing is China’s only state-level hi-tech zone themed “environmental protection” and Finland is the famous area gathering environmental protection technologies, the two parties should make joint efforts to move forward. Malegue introduced the specific cases of Lappeenranta for the application in such fields as clean technologies, new energy, high-end manufacturing industry and medical treatment, and discussed with guests about the rapid transfer and industrialization of the technology of Finland’s innovation enterprises in China as well as the concrete plan for achieving the further cooperation between Lappeenranta and Yixing.
Tomi, Director of Visedo, introduced the development history and financing situation of Visedo to the delegation. Founded in 2009, Visedo obtained the sales volume of EUR 5.6 million in 2016 after two rounds of financing, and is planned to achieve the sales volume of EUR 10 million in 2017. Visedo is mainly specialized in the R & D and manufacturing of new energy technology, motor system and motor parts for yacht and large-scale vehicles (such as truck, bus and excavator), and has Sales Office in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Xiamen.

Zhu Xufeng introduced the basic information of Yixing and Far East and the planning for the development of Detroit Electric Vehicles Co., Ltd., and hoped that the new energy motor technology of Visedo could be applied to the new energy vehicles. Jiang Xipei introduced the development history and the investment situation of Far East, and expressed his willingness to communicate with Xiamen Sales Office of Visedo for achieving communication system and product cooperation as soon as he comes back to China.
The delegation also paid a visit to UK’s Detroit Electric, one of investors of Detroit Electric Vehicles Co., Ltd., and visited the R & D and manufacturing factory of Detroit Electric. Albert Lam, Chairman of Detroit Electric, introduced the basic information of the company. Founded in 2008 under the approval of Michigan Government, USA, staff of Detroit Electric boasts the over-25-year experience of automobile industry in such fields as operation, management, engineering technology and manufacturing. With the driven distance of over 3 million km, electric cars developed by Detroit Electric are highly recognized by customers, and the SP:01 has been certificated by European countries.

Detroit Electric Vehicles Co., Ltd., a joint venture established by Detroit Electric, Smarter Energy and Yixing Industrial Park with a total investment of USD 1.8 billion, is planned to produce 100,000 electric cars and automobile components per year. The project is planned to lay the foundation in June 2017 and construct automobile manufacturing factory and R & D center in July 2017. The construction of the project will bring numerous high-quality supporting enterprises and top talents to Yixing, promoting the comprehensive development of automobile manufacturing industry of Yixing City.
Smarter Energy implemented strategic transformation between 2013 and 2014, and new energy automobile was one of the key aspects for its strategic transformation. The cooperation with Detroit Electric is the further extension of the original strategy, and it will further perfect the smart energy industrial chain and make Smarter Energy the competitive energy supplier of new energy automobile by virtue of the technological advantages of the joint venture in new energy automobiles.
The delegation also visited Warwickshire Government of UK, Deal Global Group and Department for International Trade of UK.
