List of the Third Batch of National Green Factories

On November 6th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China published The Third Batch of Green Manufacturing List. On the list, there are 391 green factories, 480 green design products, 34 green industrial parks and 21 demonstration enterprises of green supply chain management. New Far East Cable Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as New Far East Cable), the subsidiary of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Smarter Energy, stock code: 600869), has been selected on the list of the Third Batch of National Green Factories.

According to the report, to carry out and practice the Industrial Green Development Plan from 2016-2020 and the Implementation Guide of Green Manufacturing Engineering from 2016-2020 to persistently construct the advanced models of green manufacturer, to guide the green transformation of industries in relevant fields and to accelerate the construction of green manufacturing system, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China organized and carried out the recommending work of the third batch of green manufacturing list according to the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the Construction of the Green Manufacturing System (GXTJH [2016] No. 586, hereinafter referred to as the Notice ) and the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Recommending the Third Batch of Green Manufacturing List (GXTJH [2016] No. 257). After the self-evaluation of the application units, the evaluation of a third-party evaluation agency, the assessment and affirmation of the provincial industrial and informational competent department, expert argumentation and publicity, the third batch of green manufacturing list is finalized.
